There are guitars, and then there is The Petrus Novacaster– Star Destroyer
Legend has it that Petrus Novacaster wasn’t so much built as it was accidentally summoned.
The body was re-routed—with great enthusiasm—to fit two humbuckers.
The neck is a Musikraft quartersawn maple, crowned with a rosewood board, real clay dots and a 9.5-inch radius. It’s been recently fret dressed, so it plays great.
At the bridge, you’ll find a DiMarzio Super Distortion, In the neck? A year-old Rocketfire PAF.
Bass Control:
Features a .033μF SoZo paper-in-oil capacitor, acting as a low-end cut. It reduces bass frequencies smoothly without thinning out the overall tone.
Treble Control:
Uses a .0022μF SoZo paper-in-oil capacitor in a variable treble bleed configuration. This allows precise control over high-end retention when adjusting the volume, maintaining clarity or rolling off treble as needed.
