Before and After: 20 Years to Brand New 🔥
This ESP M-II HS came in with a worn Floyd Rose and outdated electronics. I installed a brand-new Floyd (including drilling fresh stud holes), routed the body for new EMG humbuckers and a 3-way switch, added Volume and Tone pots, touched up the paint, and installed a Floyd Rose Trem-Ender for ultimate stability.
A classic reborn — ready for another 20 years of action! 🎸

From Workhorse to Weapon: The Ultimate P-Bass Upgrade:

How do you take a Made-in-Mexico Fender P-Bass and turn it into the ultimate tone machine? You start with vision—and in this case, it came from a customer whose collection is the stuff of legend. With nearly as many guitars and basses as days in the month, his arsenal spans Rickenbackers, Gretsches, Fenders, and even an impressive array of ukuleles. But this P-Bass? This one had a special mission.

In 2025, the bass underwent a complete transformation. Out went the stock parts, and in came a Babicz Full Contact Bridge for rock-solid sustain and unmatched resonance. Lindy Fralin pickups replaced the originals, delivering that unmistakable punch and vintage warmth that P-Bass purists live for. The electronics were fully upgraded to give this bass a wider tonal palette and improved clarity. A new pickguard added visual flair, and it’s all strung up with Curt Mangan flatwounds for a buttery-smooth feel and rich, old-school thump.

What started as a solid MIM P-Bass is now a boutique-level instrument, built to sit proudly among a museum-worthy collection—but ready to gig tonight.

From “Who Knows What?” to “Can’t Put It Down”: The Telecaster Makeover

Every guitarist knows the feeling: a great-looking Tele that just doesn’t quite sing. This Made-in-Mexico Fender Telecaster had all the right bones—but that neck pickup? Muddled, lifeless, and frankly, forgettable. The kind of tone that gets labeled “country clean” but really just sounds… weak.

Enter the transformation.

The body was already routed—luck was on our side—so in went a Seymour Duncan Vintage Mini Humbucker, and suddenly, everything changed. The installation was smooth, the wiring easy, but the result? Electric. The tone exploded with clarity, warmth, and just the right edge. It’s the most exciting thing we’ve heard all day—and maybe all month.

This wasn’t just an upgrade. It was a resurrection. The player—someone who knows their way around a collection—picked it up, hit a few chords, and couldn’t stop smiling. This is what reignites the spark. What makes you want to play again. What turns a “decent Tele” into something you’d record with, gig with, and never loan out.

From “stock mystery pickups” to a tone that punches through the mix with vintage soul and modern muscle—this MIM Tele found its voice. And it’s loud, proud, and impossible to ignore.

Before & After: Guild Acoustic Bridge Re-Glue
This Guild acoustic came in with a failed bridge repair — the owner had attempted a DIY fix, but it didn’t hold. I carefully removed all the old adhesive, cleaned the contact surfaces, and performed a proper bridge re-glue from the ground up. Solid fit, clean lines, and it’s now back to full strength. A great save on a great guitar.

Ding Repair and paint touch up on an electric guitar neck in Falls Church, VA

This guitar neck was bitten by a dog. You can’t make this stuff up. The glue repair and touch up went very well. You can hardly tell it was a chew toy.
