Tube and Solid State
Are you dealing with low volume, frustrating background noise, or an amp that simply won’t turn on? Get your gear back to peak performance. We specialize in expert guitar amplifier repair, meticulous vintage amp restoration, and precision troubleshooting for musicians who demand reliability on stage and in the studio.

Amp Diagnosis and Repair: $40-$120 depending on the problem. I usually cover all the small parts and you’ll cover large ones.
Re-Tube and Bias: $60 and you cover the cost of tubes.
Tube Testing: $5 per tube.
Marshall JCM 2000 DSL 401: These amps go out over time and need some parts upgrade. They also need new tubes and biasing.
Unless you know what you’re doing, I wouldn’t attempt the bias on the El84 models. If you get it wrong, your amp will blow up all over again.
Servicing is $120. I cover the small parts excluding the tubes and large electrolytic capacitors.
Fender Blues Deluxe: These amps have a few resistors and diodes that need to be updated and replaced or else the board could catch on fire.
Servicing is $120. I cover the diodes and resistors as well as other small parts. Large electrolytic caps and tubes not included.
From routine maintenance to complex circuit diagnostics, we service all major brands and topologies.
Our Amplifier Service Specialties:
- Cap Changes & Recapping: Replacing degraded electrolytic filter capacitors to eliminate hum and restore punch.
- General Maintenance: Cleaning scratchy potentiometers (pots), replacing damaged jacks, securing loose tube sockets, and speaker swaps.
- Solid-State Repair: Diagnostic troubleshooting for modern circuit boards, power supplies, and transistors.
Don’t let a failing component ruin your tone or cut your gig short. Drop off your head, combo, or cabinet for an accurate diagnostic and reliable, high-quality repair.
